🧰 About the Role
As a Motorcycle Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of motorcycles and motorbikes. You will work in a professional workshop environment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer and industry standards.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
➤ Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment.
➤ Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections on motorcycles.
➤ Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other components.
➤ Conduct tune-ups, oil changes, and preventive maintenance services.
➤ Inspect and repair fuel, ignition, cooling, and exhaust systems.
➤ Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to identify and resolve issues.
➤ Test ride motorcycles when required to verify repairs and performance.
➤ Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
✅ To Qualify, You Must Have:
➤ Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic.
➤ Strong knowledge of motorcycle engines, electrical systems, and diagnostic procedures.
➤ Experience servicing and repairing various motorcycle brands and models.
➤ Ability to use workshop diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and hand tools.
➤ Relevant trade qualification in Motorcycle Mechanics or Automotive Technology is preferred.
➤ Ability to read technical manuals and follow manufacturer specifications.
➤ Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
➤ Must be willing to undergo skills assessment and trade testing if required.
➤ Ready to provide visa documentation, including a valid passport, police clearance, employment certificates, training records, and educational documents.
