Modern Slavery Statement

Last updated: April 2025

1. Our Commitment

TPRC Philippines Recruitment ("TPRC", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. As an ethical recruitment agency connecting employers with skilled Filipino workers across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines, we recognise the responsibility we hold to protect the workers we place and to conduct our business with integrity.

2. About Our Business

TPRC recruits and places skilled Filipino workers with employers in industries including construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining, healthcare, and more. Our operations involve working directly with candidates in the Philippines and with employer clients, which places us in a position to uphold high ethical standards throughout the recruitment supply chain.

3. Ethical Recruitment Principles

We are guided by the "Employer Pays Principle" and internationally recognised standards. This means:

  • Workers never pay recruitment fees or related costs
  • Employment terms and conditions are transparent and provided in writing
  • Workers retain control of their own identity and travel documents at all times
  • Recruitment is free from deception, coercion, and misrepresentation
  • Workers are free to change employers and are not bound by debt bondage

4. Compliance and Due Diligence

We comply with the labour, migration, and anti-trafficking laws of the countries in which we operate, including licensing and accreditation requirements for overseas recruitment in the Philippines. We carry out due diligence on our employer partners and supply-chain relationships to ensure they share our commitment to ethical treatment of workers.

5. Identifying and Managing Risk

We assess the risk of modern slavery across our recruitment activities, with particular attention to vulnerable workers and cross-border placements. Where we identify risks, we take steps to mitigate them, including verifying employment terms, monitoring working conditions, and providing workers with clear channels to raise concerns.

6. Reporting Concerns

We encourage anyone — candidates, employees, clients, or partners — to report any concern relating to modern slavery or unethical treatment of workers. Reports can be made confidentially using the contact details below. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Training and Awareness

Our team receives guidance on ethical recruitment practices and on recognising the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking, so that these standards are applied consistently across our operations.

8. Ongoing Review

We review this statement regularly and update our practices as our business and the regulatory environment evolve. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
