This is your chance to advance your career overseas while working with globally recognized companies and state-of-the-art equipment. 🧰 About the Role As a Diesel Mechanic (Mobile Plant), you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy mobile plant equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, and haul trucks. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime, maximum productivity, and workplace safety. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities: ➤ Diagnose, service, and repair diesel-powered mobile plant equipment. ➤ Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns. ➤ Inspect engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems. ➤ Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot faults. ➤ Replace or repair defective parts including engines, brakes, and fuel systems. ➤ Perform welding, fabrication, and adjustments where required. ➤ Maintain accurate service records and equipment logs. ➤ Adhere to strict safety and environmental standards. ✅ To Qualify, You Must Have: ➤ Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic (Mobile Plant) for Mobile Plant, Underground Equipment, Heavy Equipment, or Agricultural Equipment. ➤ Strong knowledge of heavy equipment brands (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, Sandvik, Epiroc, Atlas Copco, Kubota, John Deere, etc). ➤ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic reports. ➤ Proficiency in using mechanical and electronic diagnostic tools such as CAT ET, Volvo TechTool, Volvo Impact, ECM, and similar systems. ➤ Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset. ➤ Good English communication skills (spoken and written). ➤ Valid passport and readiness with visa documentation (NBI clearance, employment and school records, police clearance, etc.). 🌏 Why Choose New Zealand? ➤ Work with world-class companies in mining, construction, and engineering. ➤ Clean, regulated, and safety-driven work environments. ➤ Competitive wages plus overtime and superannuation benefits. ➤ Long-term settlement and pathways to Permanent Residency. ➤ Generous leave entitlements (4 weeks annual leave + 10+ days sick leave). ➤ Excellent work-life balance, healthcare, and safe, modern cities.
